The dust removal mechanism of the cyclone inertial precipitator involves rotating the dust-laden airflow, where centrifugal force separates dust particles from the airflow and captures them on the device walls, followed by gravitational settling into the ash hopper. Under standard operating conditions, the centrifugal force acting on particles ranges from 5 to 2,500 times that of gravity, making cyclone precipitators significantly more efficient than gravity settling chambers. They primarily remove particles larger than 3 ¦Ìm, with parallel multi-tube cyclone systems achieving 90¨C99% efficiency for particles up to 3 ¦Ìm. Constructed from specialized metal or ceramic materials resistant to high temperatures, wear, and corrosion, these precipitators can operate under conditions of up to 1,000℃ temperatures and 500¡Á10? Pa pressures. From technical and economic perspectives, the recommended pressure drop range for cyclone precipitators is typically 500¨C2,000 Pa. With their simple structure, easy manufacturing, installation, and maintenance, coupled with low equipment investment and operational costs, cyclone precipitators are widely used for separating solid and liquid particles from airflows or liquids.
