Most ambient-temperature dust collection bags exhibit minimal performance variation between dry and wet states, demonstrating excellent resistance to polyester filter bags under standard operating conditions. Polyester fibers possess high strength, superior breathability, dimensional stability (thermal shrinkage rate <1%), elongation capacity, excellent elastic recovery properties, and superior wear resistance. These fibers typically operate below 120℃ with instantaneous service temperatures up to 150℃, making them the most cost-effective filtration material at ambient temperatures. As a polycondensation polymer containing ester bonds in macromolecules, polyester is susceptible to strong alkali degradation and hydrolysis, leading to accelerated material loss during prolonged high-temperature exposure. In contrast, polyester demonstrates acid resistance, insolubility in organic acids, and stability against low-concentration inorganic acids at low temperatures. However, it dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid and heated meta-crotonic acid while remaining stable in common organic solvents.
